Merry Shatmas!

Today is William Shatner's 76th birthday, which makes today - SHATMAS!

Tonight marks the start of the 6 Days of Shatmas, whereupon worshippers watch Star Trek: The Motion Picture and end, 6 days from now, with Star Trek VI.

Some crazy fringe groups - namely the Church of Latter Day Shatnerians - believe there's actually 7 days of Shatmas. This is, of course, wrong. THERE IS NO 7TH DAY.

And on that note, Merry Shatmas!

The eggs are done.

One of the interesting things about Mac software in this post-iMac world is the strong tendency for a lot of software to carry the "i" moniker, e.g. iChat, iTunes, iDrive, iPartition, etc.

Mac shareware authors, the bar has been raised.

While browsing versiontracker.com today, I've found the iApp to end all iApps. I give to you: iOvulate. It even gives you help in cycle timing to increase your odds of conceiving a boy or a girl. And it's in Spanish too. ¡Que Ganga!

March is really shaping up to be quite the month, what with Mexican hot dogs, the "Codfather" and now this.

Hot Dogs!

I had something new for lunch today: a hot dog. It was very tasty.

Not just any hot dog either, a "Mexican Hot Dog" from a place near home called Perrito's. I'm not exactly sure what makes it Mexican, but they had a lot of different styles of chili. I chose the New Mexican Rojo, which I gather is red beans and meat.

Where is it, you ask? Well, it's near 35th Ave and Bell. You can't miss it - it's right next door to a Planned Parenthood.

There's no way anything could go wrong.

Edit: For those curious (and honestly, that should be no one), I gave birth to nothing out of the ordinary in the days since, and I even went to a local fish-n-chips place ("The Codfather" - I'm not making this up) the same evening. I think my bowels must have been forged in the fires of hell, or at least they are now.
