I gotz the skills, but I forgot to pay the billz
Turns out the brad-oliver.com domain expired on Dec 4. I had set it up to auto-renew when I set it up a few years back, but the credit card I had on file expired last year. I never saw any warning e-mails either - they must've gone straight into the junk mail folder. Only when Beth pointed out that my blog was unreachable did I notice. I access it from the same machine it's hosted on, so all my bookmarks are http://localhost:8081/~boliver/blog - which works regardless of the domain.
Anyway it's renewed through 2011, when my credit card will surely be expired - again.

Welcome back! Thought maybe you were taking a permanent vacation from cyber-space.

I pay for website hosting and the company never contacted me when my credit card on file expired. Rather than cutting me off, they just didn't charge me for a few months.
