The Buck stops here
Lindsey Buckingham, who is essentially the talented member of Fleetwood Mac, just released a new acoustic album. He's also touring, and will be stopping in Phoenix on Nov. 1. I've never had a chance to see him live, either solo or with Fleetwood Mac, so I'm really looking forward to this.
Hopefully he'll bring the crazy, and judging from the new album, that's almost a guarantee. I remember when I was a teenager joking about doing a "Lindsey Buckingham guitar solo", which back then amounted to playing the same note over and over, as fast as possible. When his "Out of the Cradle" album came out in the early 90's, I was shocked to discover that he'd actually spent the past 8 or so years honing his guitar skills to near-virtuoso level. Today, a LB guitar solo is a far cry from what he did in Fleetwood Mac, that's for sure.
Now if only Mark Knopfler would stop in Phoenix...

The talented member of Fleetwood Mac? That would be Peter Green...

I didn't know you were a guitar fan, Brad. If I ever get around to recording something, I'll send an eval copy. Actually, I want to know what it'll make Sam Morris want to eat -- hopefully not a MacRib. ;-)
