Puppy Love
About 5 weeks ago, Beth and I became the proud parents of 2 puppies: Barney and Kermit. Looking back on it now, I don't think either of us expected it to be quite as exhausting as it has been, but with the odd exception every now and then, they're turning out pretty good. Without a doubt, they have much love to give.
To fully realize what it's like to be the parent of 2 puppies, I present this link to the iTunes music store. Play the sample clip in iTunes and it should become crystal clear. You already know the song, but perhaps not the name - Sabre Dance. When I'm alone during the day (a time I now refer to as "OHMYGOD time"), imagine this song playing over and over as I balance the needs of two incredibly motivated and excited puppies with the fears of 2 jittery cats and, of course, working from home.

Hey Brad,
This fall I was so overjoyed to see that you had a blog. I fawned over your dark forces tools so long ago. I just really wish that game had multiplayer. I should really bust it out again. I wonder if it will run in classic?
Well, anyways. I was just clicking on a few of my favorite bookmarks and yours is one of them. I was about to drag and drop your blog link into a less used folder. I don't want to do this, because I would rather read your blog and see what you are up to, but you haven't been updating your blog lately.
I am going to keep your blog link in my 'stuff to read' folder, but please push up some new content.
Let me get you started:
--What game are you working on now?
--Are the libraries to your satisfaction?
--Could there be a nice wrapper around directX so that games could be easier ported to Mac os X?
--Is gaming going to die once wine starts working on Mac os X?
--Will the Dark Forces source ever be released? Networking code for it? (I think there were rumors that said it was partially working.)
Thank you kindly.
