Yugoing
I hit another minor milestone in "Yugo" last night. I can now get entirely into the game proper and do stuff, for a very narrow definition of "stuff". ;-)
In fact, all I can do is sit and watch the camera pan endlessly around my guy as his clothes and hair appear and disappear. The non-stop panning and vanishing clothing are tell-tale signs that I missed some byte-swapping somewhere, so hopefully as soon as I can track those down, it'll be very close to playable.
Getting ready in the morning would go a lot quicker if I could pop my hair and clothes off and on instantaneously.

So it's not a car games and probably a FPS.

Or a third person game, but since I pay no attention to PC or console games, I can't think of any.

not gta vice city, cuz you can't pan around your character. why do I feel like glenda turned this one down?

"guest", if you think that Glenda would pass on a GTA game if the opportunity arose, then you're on crack. Are you on crack?

Well there was that interview on curmudgeongamer.com a week or so ago... let's see here we are:
GA: Not that I can remember. I've turned down games that just seemed to require too high end of a machine, or that were bad or offensive, but that's about it.
That tells us she does in fact have a line as far as content she likes to see in games. Which is totally cool, I personally like pretty much anything but a few games (Postal 2 e.g.) just gross me out to much to enjoy. And games that are big enough to port to Mac yet possibly offensive are few in number. I'd probably put GTA on that short list-I like it myself but see why some people wouldn't.
Not trying to start an argument, just pointing out that it might not be an unreasonable supposition for someone who doesn't know Ms Adams personally as you do.

I didn't read that interview, but a few things bear mentioning. First, I could be wrong, but I don't believe Glenda has final say on what titles get ported and what don't, now that she's at Aspyr. I know that while at Westlake, she did refuse titles for various reasons.
And although I can't speak for her preferences, it's my belief that GTA is on the "good" side of the line, and something like Postal would be on the "bad" side. One game that I know she turned down while at Westlake was "Panty Raider", so make of that what you will. :)

To clarify my previous comment, what I meant by final say is that if Glenda didn't want to do GTA3, and Ted or Michael did, I believe Aspyr would do the title. I could be wrong though - I can't say with absolute certainty.

Lets go for a long shot - KOTOR! Not that I'm implying that Brad's a Jedi Knight or anything! ; )

KOTOR is a good guess - I think we are looking for a third-person, 3D game that lets you customize the character's hair and clothing. (Or a game where the main character's appearance changes over the course of the game. Or possibly a game where the same base model + differing clothing is used for multiple characters, but this would be unusual because in a 3rd-person game the main character usually has a lot more polys than other characters do.)
The only problem is, I think KOTOR is huge and would be a monstrous port, not the smooth port that Brad seems to be experiencing. On the other hand KOTOR is already cross-platform (PC, XBox) so maybe not as bad I would have expected? Still feels like a long shot though.
Thinking of other 3rd person games with customizable characters: it could be Tony Hawk: Underground (though I'd peg Beenox for that port.) It could be Gladius (though that's a console game, not usually what Brad ports.) Probably there are other games that allow customization that I don't know about. It could be some other extreme sports game, or even golf.
Feh. Why do I bother guessing? So many clues, and yet I'm still clueless. :-)

Hmmm... I guess it's safe to assume that we can take BF1942 off the possibility list.

Here's my guess. A quick gander should be self explanatory: http://www.historychannel.com/classroom/unesco/kotor.html As should be the link.
